Its extremely versatile design lets you build the perfect rig for your productions. It features a 36 x 24mm full frame 12K sensor with wide dynamic range and a built in low pass filter specifically designed for the sensor's specifications.
It features 2 CFexpress card slots and an Ethernet port for sharing files to the Blackmagic Cloud!
It can also record 12-bit Blackmagic RAW and the tiny H.264 proxy format at the same time.

Large Format Digital Cinema Sensor
Blackmagic PYXIS models feature a massive full frame sensor with a native resolution of 6048 x 4032 or even 12288 x 8040! That's about three times larger than a Super 35 sensor, allowing you to shoot shallow depth of field or use uncropped anamorphic lenses for true cinematic looks.
Whether you're shooting in bright sunlight or in near darkness, the huge dynamic range combined with the high performance sensor delivers stunning images with very low noise.
PYXIS also lets you shoot up to 120 fps on the 6K model, or up to 112 fps on the PYXIS 12K model.
