Canon Camcorder CMOS Super35 - EF mount - 4K Raw in camera - 120 fps in Full HD
The absolute strong point of the new model is the ability to record 4K Raw video in camera, thanks to the support of the new RAW recording format "Cinema RAW Light" ensuring the same flexibility in color grading as Cinema RAW but with smaller files, thus allowing filmmakers to make internal recordings on the Cfast 2.0 card.
This represents an important element since in the majority of cameras on the market the recording of 4K Raw files is only possible using external recorders connected to the video cameras, and consequently requiring further investment by the videomaker himself.
The new Canon Dual DIGIC DV6 processors allow recording on internal media in 4K UHD / 50 P MP4 and 4K DCI RAW, with a continuous frame rate of 120 fps in Full HD without cropping.
The camera also features Dual Pixel CMOS Auto Focus (AF) technology and a new LCD touch screen display ensuring smooth AF operation and effective framing (it is the first Cinema EOS with a touch display).
