Improving on one of the most versatile lenses in Sigma's lineup, the 35mm f/1.4 DG II Art is a smaller, lighter, and optically refined update to their classic wide-angle prime lens.
This version II lens sees a noticeably more portable design along with new optics, a new AAC coating, and improved focusing performance to make this all-around lens better for all situations and creators.

Friendly Focal Length, Fast Design
The 35mm focal length is one of the most versatile single focal lengths available.
Offering a standard wide-angle field of view, this lens is suitable for a broad range of subjects from landscapes to portraits to street scenes.
Coupled with a bright f/1.4 maximum aperture, this lens excels in a variety of lighting conditions, too.
Also, the fast design helps to achieve a shallow depth of field for selective focus effects.

Evolved Optics and Bokeh
Second-generation 35mm f/1.4 sees a completely designed optical layout that achieves greater resolution and higher clarity than the previous version.
New lens design incorporates four aspherical elements and two SLD elements to suppress various spherical and chromatic aberrations for high sharpness, low distortion, and accurate colors.
By correcting chromatic aberrations, the design also contributes to cleaner, smoother bokeh quality. Additionally, an 11-blade rounded diaphragm maintains rounded out-of-focus highlights and an overall clean, natural image quality.
