A brand new function of Loxia lenses is the possibility of disengaging the trigger mechanism of the diaphragm with the appropriate tool, by means of an adjustment screw on the surface of the bayonet. This allows, in the case of video applications, to balance an unexpected difference in brightness on the overview, with continuous adjustment. This function can also be used with other video systems suitable for adaptation thanks to their size.

Adjusting a lens manually means being able to control the photographic result with your fingertips: ergonomics are everything.
