The ALPA lens for FUJIFILM X-Mount Camera Speed
Booster ULTRA from Metabones enhances the original Metabones Speed Booster with a 5-element / 4-group optical design incorporating ultra-high refractive index tantalum-based glass for improved clarity and reduced distortion and vignetting. The Speed Booster ULTRA allows you to mount a full frame ALPA lens on an APS-C format X-Mount camera and, by doing so, increases the angle of view and increases the maximum aperture by approximately one f / stop.

When a lens intended for full-frame or 35mm film sensors is mounted on a camera with an APS-C size sensor, it transmits a larger area of light than the smaller sensor was built to accept and therefore l effective angle of view of the lens increases. The Speed Booster condenses the lens light and projects it onto the APS-C sensor allowing the sensor to use all the lens light and effectively reduce the crop factor of the APS-C E-mount camera from 1.5x to 1 , 07x, producing a full frame angle of view with an APS-C sensor. A corresponding increase in the maximum aperture by one f / stop makes the lens more effective in low light situations and able to create a shallow depth of field.

Although the lens physically fits, auto iris (AE metering) or other automatic functions are not maintained using this speed booster. Metabones Speed Accelerators are made of quality, using precision machined brass with chrome plating on both the camera body and lens side of the booster to ensure smooth assembly, quality aesthetics, and durability. A matte black interior reduces internal reflections and a satin black exterior matches most camera bodies and lenses. This adapter has a tripod foot compatible with Arca Swiss, Markins and Photo Clam ball heads and can be removed if needed with an included hex wrench.

Precise fit and solid connection: The lens has no play, gaps or wobble when mounted on a speed booster, and no adjustments are required to fit the lens. Both the camera side and the objective side of the speed multiplier are made of precision machined brass and chrome.
-The Speed Booster uses matte black treatment to minimize internal reflection in order to maintain the highest possible optical quality with the lens. The exterior features a satin black surface finish.

-Designed to achieve focus at infinity while maintaining the correct recording distance required to maintain the optical quality of CRC lenses or lenses with moving elements.
-The speed booster comes with a detachable tripod foot compatible with Arca Swiss, Markins, Photo Clam ball heads. The booster can be attached to a quick release plate or tripod using a 1/4 "-20 screw.
