Designed for videographers using mirrorless cameras and compact camcorders, the 502X head is part of the Manfrotto Bridging Technology range.
The Variable Continuous Fluid Drag System (FDS) on both pan and tilt axes ensures flawless control for cinematic shots and consistently accurate framing.
For optimal equipment handling, the integrated Counterbalance System (CBS)—calibrated for a 4.4 kg load with a 55 mm center of gravity—keeps the setup perfectly balanced, reducing operator strain.
Rapid setup and maximum versatility
The 504PLONG-style sliding plate, featuring a quick-release top attachment and side lock, allows for camera positioning and balancing in seconds. Independent brakes ensure stability in any position, while 3/8" Easy Link connections allow for the secure mounting of external monitors or accessories.
The 75mm flat base makes the 502X fully compatible with tripods, sliders, dollies, and the Manfrotto XCHANGE quick-release system, enabling rapid setup changes on location.
