Capture vibrant 4K images outdoors, in any kind of weather, with the O4 Outdoor PTZ Camera from BirdDog. Boasting a diecast, IP66-rated body, the camera works in extreme temperatures, ranging from -40 to 140°F, and features an IR laser for true night vision image capture.
Equipped with a 1/1.8" 8.4MP CMOS sensor and a 30x optical zoom lens, the O4 also offers built-in NDI HX3 support, an integrated heater, and 12G-SDI, SFP+ fiber, and HDMI connectivity.
It supports PoE++ (Power over Ethernet) for installation simplicity and limited cable clutter.

Broadcast-Quality Video
The O4 captures sharp, color-accurate 4K60 video using a large 1/1.8" CMOS sensor with multi-exposure HDR. With fine control over color, gamma, exposure, and dynamic range, it matches the look of higher-end production cameras, making it ideal for mixed workflows.

Easy Installation
Unlike typical outdoor PTZs that create cable management headaches, the O4 is designed with installers in mind. All I/O connections live in a concealed, weather-sealed undercarriage with three flanges and built-in strain relief for clean, reliable setups.
Power can be delivered over PoE++ for single-cable simplicity, or via external DC for flexibility.
And if you need O4 indoors, simply remove the panel and mount it like any standard PTZ.

Exceptional Low-Light Performance
The 30x optical zoom lens (60x in HD) lets you frame subjects clearly from a distance without relying on digital tricks.
For low-light or no-light conditions, the O4 deploys a precision infrared laser emitter, paired with IR cut filters and a black-and-white mode that adapts automatically to changing light.
